there are way to many freakin chickens in hawaii. the most of which enjoyed perching just outside of our bedroom. the other fun thing about hawaii's rooster population is they haven't heard about that one thing where you "ka" as the sun is coming up. rather, they began at around 1-2am and continued till sun down. as a result, i hunted them sporadicaly, hoping to kill one and hang it from our fence as to provide a warning to the others.
