African Wear

We had some sweet clothes made for us..Seth’s shirt is the most hilarious item – he asked for baby blue linen shirt with very light embroidery…ended up with a turquoise shirt made out of something akin to a plastic bag and heavy white embroidery complete with tassle. (conveniently hidden by the camera strap). I am wearing a traditional skirt and top made out of kinte print – a traditional print and Thomas has a cute African wear shirt made out of batik cloth – the same shirt our housemate Ryan had made…aren’t they cute!

The clothes look great. T is getting so big... Even though I've seen him get bigger in all of your pictures, I still think of him as the little baby that you guys left with (especially his great hair!)

Glad to hear that you're enjoying the time you have left there.

Hey guys!
I just stopped by to see how ya'll are going over there. Knowing you two, you're loving it.
I've been in New Zealand for a few months now and I'm obviously loving it.
When do you go back to the states? I'll be there around June and look forward to trading adventure stories.
Love,
Niki
PS- try to be better parents than mine were and prevent your baby from contracting malaria whilst in Africa
