What were we thinking? Camping with Thomas was quite the challenge, but camping in March, in general - not smart. We froze! Actually, Thomas and I were fairly comfortable, in terms of temperature, we shared the same bag most of the night. Thomas managaed to get a banged up eye and tons of dirt on his face to look like he was rouging it...or just a little roughed-up.
He also enjoyed the bouldering structure at our campsite.
We survived the night and had a fabulous day at Smith Rocks - it was so warm and gorgeous - complete opposite of our night. Seth and Nick White - a good friend who just returned from a mission in Texas, climbed a bunch and I was even able to do my first lead-climb...pretty cool.

There's no shortage of adventure in your life - that's for sure :)
Camping in March... you guys are hard core!
Man I miss climbing at Smith rock... as much as I love popping out babies it's really put a crunch on climbing.
How'd you like lead climbing?
What a vacation....the posts just keep going on and on. Thanks for testing out camping with a little one. This was my suspicion, but glad to see you were the tester.
Wow, that sounds like an awful night- a mummy bag with a toddler. I bet Thomas was in heaven.
You're amazing!
And camping + one small child = 5th ring of hell for me.
Great spring break! I'm exhausted just thinking about it!
Burr...
Tommy IS quite the trooper!
We can't wait to try camping with Wyatt! Wish we were in your neck of the woods to go with you.
