almost a home

these are pictures of the house that was supposed to be ours last Wednesday. with some luck and threatening comments, it may be ours by tuesday. if anyone is interested in coming down for a work party:
-repaint entire house, inside and out
-re texture most on the interior
- take out 3 walls (varying sized chunks)
-new kitchen cabinet doors/repaint kitchen cabinets
-new counter tops
-remodel both bathrooms
-new carpet
-new garage door
-pool fence
-relax and enjoy first home
-cry myself to sleep most nights

Yeah!!! We are closing on a house next week, so you will have to come see us when you come back to Corvallis some time. Swimming every day would be so incredible~~

I'm glad to see a pool fence is on that list. That is some major work! Did Caroline tell you that Alligent Air is adding a flight from the Tri-cities to Phineox for like $59? We expect to see a lot of you guys...well at least a little.

It feels so good when you are done and it's so nice to know that everything you can see (floors, paint) is new even though the house is not. Our home was a foreclosure, so we had to do a lot of those things too.
Congrats on your new (almost) home and I love that you'll have a pool! That's going to be awesome!
