i took thomas camping a few months back, along with a bunch of teenage boys from church. i didn't bother putting thomas down till 9 or 10 at night because everyone was out horsing around and t-bones was loving it. by the time i got him ready for and in bed, i was hosed, but did my best to keep up the night routine. we read our scriptures together, prayed, i sang to him etc. he was almost asleep, then he was not... after a while i gave up, put a pillow over my head to guard from the body shots he was dealing out and went to sleep. i honestly have no idea what time he finally crashed, but i woke up at 3 or 4 am and he was lying in an awkward heap on top of part of his sleeping bag and pad.

funny story seth. I have to say, he probably couldn't fall asleep with your snoring.
I don't get the body shots thing. Why do they do that? Its clearly time to sleep.

Thanks for the up[date, Seth. I admire your whole family for getting into the spirit of the land you live in! You did it in Ghana and now in the Southwest. It takes a certain amount of courage to run around bare naked with all the sharp-ended plants in that part of the world!Give that little cowboy a loving tap on that bare backside for me. He is so adorable. Your camping trip brought back lots of memories which we'll share some day.
