Happy Father's Day
There are many reasons why I am grateful for my babies daddy. Those have become even more apparent in the last two weeks and particularly this morning as I slept in and he took care of Thomas.
On top of the general nuttiness of our life currently, we had a baby and Tommy had a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. They are not kidding about the difficulty in recover for this surgery. They are also not kidding about the "breath of a dead dog in Texas in August". It is really just so sad to watch him suffer and be a completely different kid (yes, by "different" I mean generally rotten).
With all the "recovery" going on in our house, I am so grateful for Seth. It drives me nuts when he tells me to take it easy, take a nap or relax. But I am certain that my recovery has definitely been quicker because of his vigilance and lots of help from the Sherrys and Raynors.
I love that Seth is not afraid to tell people they have to wash their hands before they hold our little girl. He is totally undeterred by the socially awkward moment that follows as they wash their hands or apply hand sanitizer.
I love how vigilant Seth is about making sure Tommy takes his pain meds and doesn't eat ANYTHING that is not on the "safe foods" list for Tonsillectomy patients.
There are so many reasons why I am grateful for Seth and having a partner as we tackle the tasks of newborn care and cuddling dog-breath is definitely one of them.

I have a feeling that you will not ever forget this time in your lives. You guys like to do it all -- All at the SAME TIME!!
I wish I was there to whisk away your laundry, bring you dinner, deliver daily mouth wash to your child, swaddle your sweet little girl, and rub your feet.
Hang in there!
That is a great picture. The nice thing about all this craziness is that in about 2 weeks you will have nothing but have countless people wanting to play with Tommy and hold Callie so you can nap or just sit down and not get up for 10 minutes.
You do have a good baby daddy. Happy Father's day Sefers.
Great post! He is a good dad and you have great kids! Looking forward to next week!
