An update on the Sherry Jrs. whereabouts...Seth is in Lusaka and seems overall content with the country, the job and the climate...he is not, however content with the lack of his lady and two little ones. So, to remedy the situation Seth has procured a home for us. I honestly know very few details other than: awesome yard, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, gorgeous palms, fenced pool and guest house.
The kids and I will be flying on Thursday (August 25) evening (7 PM), and arrive early Saturday morning in Zambia, so that will be Saturday night around 9 pm for those on the Pacific coast. Our itinerary is much nicer than I originally expected: 2 hour drive to San Francisco, 10.5 hour flight to Heathrow, 6 hour lay-over, 10.5 hour flight to Lusaka, 1 hour in immigration, 10 minute hug from daddy. We are flying with British Airways so, no frequent flyer miles, but for only one lay-over...I couldn't pass it up. (Prayers and meditations on our behalf will be much appreciated :))
Our stuff is due to arrive mid-September so we will be camping on mattresses in our Zambian estate until then. Once we get settled (I am guessing the end of September) this blog will be a happenin' spot to check out, but until then, don't expect much.
Love to you all!

You are my hero.
Fantastic news. I'm certain you'll have angels around you helping along the way, whether you notice them or not. You are a brave woman to do this on your own and I will most definitely be praying for you.
Such happy and scary news all at once. So glad you will be all together soon -- scared for your flight but YOU are amazing and I know YOU can handle this!!!! We will certainly pray for you.
