Seth Wiggins! Goodbye Christine, Kiambi in the Lower Zambezi and Cali walks

Wiggins flew in on a Thursday night and we decided to do a last minute camping trip to the Lower Zambezi.  Chrisitne, who has been part of the family, was leaving Zambia so it was a nice last hurrah.

The camping was great and we got some wonderful up close and personal time with some Elephants…literally they were less than ten feet from us on the river.
Seth is such a good friend, he always makes an effort to come see us and we always enjoy time playing music, making delicious food, free frisbee coaching and then there are always the crazy/scary schemes the Seths come up with...I am fearful of what that may entail considering the wildlife all around us.
Guess what this hippo is doing...

My sweet Christine!  I will miss you!  Thanks for your vegan cakes, banjo playing skills, babysitting offers, counseling sessions and shoulder to cry on.

Doing a little grocery shopping on the way home.
The day we got home from camping Cali took her first steps...big girl! It was a good thing too since I was about to throw her back after two nights of crying every hour in our tent and nursing constantly. She had to do something awesome to make up for it.

What an amazing trip! Thomas is going to be bored out of his mind moving back to the US someday.
