In addition to touring around Zambia with our peeps, we have been keeping up with everyday life as much as possible.
Epic battles
I heard Cali cracking up down the hall...upon investigation I found her laughing at herself in the mirror.
Cali's birthday present...a hog. The rule is:Thomas can only ride it inside with Cali - brilliant!

While watching a tribal dance at Arcades shopping mall: “Mama, how do they move their hips like
that?”
Katie was drawing an ocean scene for Thomas. Upon completion he said, “We may need
some more fish.” Katie replies, “there isn’t any room for more fish.” Thomas’ stone faced reply, “Katie,
there are many fish in the sea.”
On the way to school:
Thomas, “Is David in love with Shay?”
Mom, “That is a good question.”
Thomas, “I feel in love with Shay.”
Later that evening upon hearing the story Katie asks Thomas
if he knows who Shay is. He
responds, “Shay looks like a princess.”
"Mom, when I lived with Heavenly Father I would go down low
and get some cowboy hats and rope spirit cows with Heavenly Father and Jesus."

Spirit cows? That's the best statement ever!
I think Simone and Thomas would get along really well - she is obsessed with horses and all things cowboy! On our vacation this summer she insisted she needed a cowgirl hat and boots as soon as we arrived in Montana! I bet Thomas and Simone could put on one wild rodeo ;)
